When will my house cleaning professional arrive?
After your booking has been confirmed (usually within 1-2 weeks of your service), you will receive a confirmation email. This email will include a summary of your booking, including a line indicating the date and time of arrival. This indicates when you should expect the cleaning professional to arrive. Please note that there may be an arrival window and the team will arrive within that time and then begin cleaning.
What will my house cleaning professional bring to the service?
All of our cleaning professionals come fully equipped with their own cleaning equipment and materials. However, if you would like to use a specific product or device in your home, you are welcome to provide it for the cleaning professional. All of our cleaning professionals are required to disinfect and change all clothing and sponges between jobs, and they use different clothing items for bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Please note that most of our cleaning professionals arrive by car and are equipped with a small ladder for high-up areas. However, some of our teams may travel by public transportation (great for locations in the city with limited parking availability), but these teams will NOT bring a ladder. If you require a team with a ladder, please let us know when booking your service.
What if I don't have parking space for the cleaning team?
Please note that we require a parking space for our cleaning teams. If you live in the city or an area where parking is difficult, please make sure to contact us and let us know if we can use a private parking space or if public parking is available. All parking costs will be charged in addition to the service. If the provided parking is more than 100 meters away from your property, additional fees may apply. Please also note that in case of no parking and no public parking available (we usually search up to 20 minutes), a cancellation fee may apply.
We have a small number of cleaning teams that use public transportation. If you notify us in advance, we can try to assign one of these teams for your cleaning. Please provide us with as much flexibility as possible when scheduling the appointment to help you with the scheduling.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning service?
It’s entirely up to you – you can be present during the service, let the cleaner in and leave, or not be there at all. You are welcome to provide the cleaner access to the house through a key/safe. However, please note that our cleaners generally work most efficiently when the house is free of people and pets.
What if I am not satisfied with the cleaning?
We value all feedback, whether positive or negative. If you are not satisfied with your service, please send an email to our office with details about the problem and include any relevant photos. We will then implement our 200% satisfaction guarantee and perform a re-cleaning for any missed/unsatisfactory areas within 2-4 days after the initial service and/or offer an appropriate discount if needed.
How can I make changes to my booking?
You will receive confirmation and reminder emails before your service. At the bottom of these emails, there is a link that will allow you to create an account and sign in. You can make changes to your service which will be marked in the office. If these changes do not affect the cleaner’s schedule, the service will be carried out as desired. If your change overlaps with the cleaner’s schedule, our friendly office staff will contact you to find a solution that benefits everyone.
Can I give the cleaner a key?
Yes. Our office regularly reviews the keys that the cleaners have in their possession. We place importance on only having the first name and first letter of the last name on the keychain. Phone numbers, addresses, or full names should never be on the keys so they cannot be traced back to the property. Alternatively, you can obtain a key safe from a general hardware store for your property and provide us with the code. This has become a very common practice among our customers. For example, if your cleaner cannot come to the service due to an emergency, the key is available for a replacement team to carry out the service on the same day. Therefore, we strongly recommend providing key safes or something similar for remote control.
Will I always have the same household helper?
In general, yes. We always try to connect you with a cleaner who will continue your service. However, there are occasions such as holidays, illnesses, emergencies, and travel/vacation that may affect the deployment of your regular cleaner. We always try to inform you in a timely manner when changes are made to your service, but unfortunately, there are things that are beyond our control that may affect your service on the booked day. We cannot guarantee a regular cleaner for 4-week bookings (except by direct arrangement with the staff) due to scheduling problems.
Will the cleaners clean under furniture?
We will move small objects and light furniture and clean underneath. We will also vacuum/wipe under heavy furniture (such as beds and sofas), but we will not move heavy furniture. This is because the risk of scratching the floor is too high. We are happy if customers want to move the furniture for us, but we will not instruct the cleaning teams to do this themselves.
How can I cancel the house cleaning service?
You can cancel your service at any time online or by phone. You don’t have to worry about cancellation deadlines. Please note: All cancellations must be made 1 business day before the scheduled appointment. If a cancellation is made within 1 business day, a fee may apply to cover the cleaner’s lost wages. Please note that we may be able to cover the cleaner’s time by rescheduling appointments. We may be able to waive this fee on occasion, but usually the fee must be charged.
What happens if damage occurs during the service?
In the rare event that damage is caused by our service, please contact our team and send photos within 48 hours of the date/time of your service. If damage is caused by errors or negligence on our team’s part, we will first try to repair the item. Depending on the value of the repair, up to 3 quotes may be required. If a repair is not possible, a suitable replacement will be sought and a purchase receipt is required. All quotes and purchase receipts must be submitted within 30 days of the complaint being filed.
Do the office cleaners undergo a police check?
Yes, all of our cleaners must submit a police clearance before starting work. Once our cleaners have passed a phone interview with our office staff, they will be invited to an interview with our owner. Here, he goes through all of our policies and procedures. All of our cleaners must have an extensive cleaning history to work with us.
Do your cleaners on weekends?
We work on Saturdays as usual, but our phone lines are closed as we only have limited office support.
We do not work on Sundays.
Does your company also do outdoor work?
Unfortunately, we only focus on indoor cleaning. However, we have a balcony service available as an additional extra.
How much does a cleaner cost?
We offer exceptional cleaning at reasonable prices! We can offer a fixed price if you want a complete cleaning of your house or an hourly rate if you only need a few hours of cleaning. For our current price lists, please visit our price list page through the link above on this page.
How can I pay for my cleaning service?
For all bookings, we require a credit/debit card to secure the booking. We will not charge your card until the service is completed and we have made 3 attempts to contact you to see how the service went.
Will window cleaning be performed inside and outside?
Unfortunately not, we only perform interior window cleaning and not exterior window cleaning.
